A garden for prayer and reflection at a church Primary School

Land Design ran design workshops with primary school pupils to consider the sorts of things that might be included in a new prayer garden.

Not only would the garden provide quiet space for group and individual contemplation but a commemoration of a former headteacher was to be included as well as activity stations to consider and celebrate the schools core values.

The children's ideas were quite inspirational and, at times, very moving and the final design is partitioned into three zones of 'Prayer', 'Remembrance' and 'Celebration', each with it's own planting colour scheme and artwork.
